What is ‘Meghan Does Media’?
‘Meghan Does Media’ is owned and operated solely by dancer and videographer, Meghan Keeney.
With my background in dance, digital media, and journalism, I know I can help you achieve your vision.
Who am I?
My name is Meghan Keeney and I’m a professional dancer, writer, and digital creative. I graduated from Marymount Manhattan College in 2020 with a BA in Dance (with a concentration in Media) and a BA in Digital Journalism (with a concentration in Video Production).
Since graduating I’ve done a little bit of everything. Outside of performing, I have filmed for Steps on Broadway, Harlequin, Marymount Manhattan College, Pointe Magazine, and Dance Teacher; edited videos for clients including Harlequin, Steps Academy, Dance Media (Pointe and Dance Teacher), GALLIM, Students for Justice, Marymount Manhattan College; written articles for Pointe Magazine, Dance Spirit, Dance Teacher+, i-D, Business Insider, and Seattle Refined.
Currently, I am a videographer for Steps on Broadway and Video, Lights, and Data technician for Precision Arts Collective Dance Competition.

DANCE VIDEOGRAPHY
Need a performance or class filmed? Maybe you just need a few 4k shots of your tricks to add to your reel. Whatever it is, I can film! Contact me for rates.
DANCE REELS
For a standard 1-1.5 min sizzle reel or 2-3 min dance reel, you can expect $120-$180 (Around 4 to 6 hours of work) This includes a consultation, locating and downloading footage, editing, and exporting. (sidenote: if you are in NY, we can get together and film a few clips of any tricks to add some *spice*)
Especially now, your dance reel is SO important. It could be what helps you get the callback. Investing in your reel=investing in your career! Plus, if I edit your reel today and a few months from now you book a show and have new footage to add, it’s super easy for me to add it to your video!
*Please note, this is an estimate, and sometimes problems with footage or complex reels involving tap sounds will add to the overall amount of work time. Super quick turnarounds will also add a surcharge. If you are working on a budget, please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate your needs!

Need a quick turnaround edit for a self-tape? Need someone to film or read? I can help edit together your slate and material and overlap the dance-cut music over your video for a more professional look.
FAQ
What equipment do you have?
I use a Sony A7iii camera (4k) and a DJI Ronan SC Gimbal. Additionally, I have a two-point lighting kit.
Where am I located?
I’m in New York, NY, but with the power of the internet, I can work with you no matter where you are located! The only exception to this is obviously in-person videography (but if you want to pay for my transportation, lmk…)
You filmed my Steps Spotilight class, can I have footage?
Steps videographers are not permitted to send out footage, but if you ask your teacher nicely they should be able to send you the link.
